Honestly i have seen far too many of these videos for me to be interested in it anymore. Basically, she survived the stabbing from what I’m gathering in the comment sections but died suffering slowly in her seat while other people were on board the train, watching it happen and did nothing. The African-American man who stabbed her made it clear he was racially motivated by saying “i got that white girl” (granted he is probably criminally/ mentally insane based on his crime record but it don’t change what he said and did)
The facts surrounding this case are really bad, the suspect was released multiple times before, even though he had an extremely long crime record and the judge who kept releasing him and I may be wrong in my facts here owned a mental institution/ behavioral rehabilitation center where she receive taxpayer money to take criminals and rehabilitate them and then release them back into the public. Not sure how many times this happened, but I think it’s worth noting that it did happen. Federal charges are being brought against the suspect with many calling for the death penalty, which I believe is the correct call. However, he probably will not receive the death penalty because he is most likely mentally insane or something like that, that’s how these things typically work. I think this case will be a test on how similar cases are handled going forward but I’m no law expert
Its a mess for certain, it’s also been revealed that the victim had several social media posts supporting blm, I could be wrong in what I’m about to say but I believe that some people online on social media were trying to say that she called him a racial slur at first, however, based on what I’m reading that is not true, and in fact, she was a Black Lives Matter supporter and a refugee from ukraine. Im not sure what these tidbits of facts mean for anyone reading but those are the facts as i know them.
Sidenote: I remember being in high school and watching an Isis video showed to me by my history teacher in front of the entire class of a news reporter getting beheaded, I think that was my first real introduction into horrible online videos
