    Obviously you don’t want to be rounding up people for political wrong speak, but it seems like a lot of tragedies could be avoided if the police just stepped in when they knew full well that there was someone that high risk of doing something terrible. Going all the way back to columbine, those guys were one signature away from being picked up by the police and it just didn’t happen.

        Probably need to bring back insane asylums, protect whackaloons from themselves and protect society from them.

          I think there are many practical solutions to this kind of issue, but there is no political will for it. Maybe it’s a cynical view, but I always feel like someone benefits whenever something like this happens.

            I think you’re right. Something like that might come from the left, but the left really likes the fact that they can use the wackaloons to promote gun control. Why do anything practical about their wonderful little pawn?

              Yes, it’s an indictment of guns and America, and by extension the West and Capitalism in general. “Here’s an example of how we’re right”
