The 28-year-old quarterback signed a new six-year, $330 million contract with the Buffalo Bills, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday. Though Allen had four years left on his previous deal, his new contract will guarantee him $250 million – the largest such guarantee in NFL history.

Allen’s new contract comes on the back of a career year for the signal-caller. Though the Bills ultimately fell short of the Super Bowl, Allen won the league’s Most Valuable Player award after throwing for 32 touchdowns and rushing for 14 more across the campaign.
