    I find that arguing back and forth about who said what is pointless, so let me elaborate. They are not cutting waste, fraud, and abuse. That’s a lie to sucker the rubes. They are axing probationary workers, because that’s easy to do, in order to announce results quickly. They are hacking at the federal government in order to effect their own brand of disaster capitalism, so that the super-wealthy can buy up the assets. It’s laid out right in Project 2025, so I don’t even have to guess. Even reports like this in The Daily Mail hint at the con by pointing out that the claims of savings are just lies.
