Israel, he said, has a right to defend itself but not by “intentionally causing death, starvation, great suffering, and serious injury to body or health of the civilian population” which he said were criminal acts.

Which he said were criminal acts? Terrorising, torturing, starving, and bombing civilians are all war crimes. It’s pathetic how beholden mainstream media is to our economic and geopolitical interests.

Karim Khan KC said there were reasonable grounds to believe that both men bore criminal responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity from the day of Hamas’s attack on Israel on 7 October onwards.

Maybe I’m missing something, but when someone commits a war crime (or in this case multiple war crimes), are the things they have done not criminal acts? Did the BBC edit their article afterwards to assert they are war crimes?

They also write that Karim Khan calls Israel’s war a “war of extermination.”

They’re going to need a big cell. There’s Putin who’s already been charged. And Assad is worse than any of them in terms of the number killed. Not to mention the ones doing genocide in Sudan (not for the first time).

NOOOO YOU CAN’T HOLD US ACCOUNTABLE FOR TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CIVILIAN CASUALTIES

    -Genocidal war criminal

Also crazy to think that hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians have died as a result of post-9/11 US wars and yet no one in the states is held to this standard.

Yes but I’ve seen most estimates state that about 435,000 of those were civilian. I’m sure that’s bullshit but I want to be accurate to the estimates I’ve seen.
