There’s some of us who either out grew or changed our style over the years. What were you in high school compared to now?

I use to be metal head then rivet head now normie, although I’ll always be q rivet head at heart.

Great question! I was a hippy at around 14, loved tie dye and things like thar. It slowly morphed into grunge with gothic elements. Now I’m still alternative, but deffo less grunge.

We probably lowkey have similar styles from what I’ve seen so far. The other day I was even this close to responding to a comment if yours in one of those fashion posts in Women’s Stuff, by quickly whipping together almost the exact outfit you described, complete with the Nirvana t-shirt lol, and responding with the photo.

In high school I was in school uniform with short back and sides. And in boarding school most of that time. So those were pretty much my normie years, apart from maybe looking like a Blink 182 music video extra on weekends lol.

Grew my hair as soon as I got out of school. I was pretty much ‘grunge’ or something like that. But I also wore a tie sometimes. Or experimented with nail polish and shit when I got the chance. Had a couple of piercings in my face.

Had my hippie phase in my early 20s. Then back to grunge or just general alternative. Although I was in metal bands during this time.

Spent the last 10 years or so mostly looking like a normie but I guess I’m ‘grunge’ again now with flannel shirts + long hair lol. I’m actually wanting to start pushing boundaries again in various ways, as budget allows.
