Hoping they botch the whole trial rushing for the death penalty.
A speedy trial is a constitutional right. We shouldn’t have someone sitting in prison for years, waiting to go on trial.
To be fair - this is entirely normal in cases where LEOs are targeted. I do not think the transgender element factored into it too much.
