    In 1807, Denmark suffered a crippling military defeat where the UK commandeered the entire Danish navy, every single ship.

    The king of denmark decreed the planting of a new royal forest to replace all that lost oak wood (though Oaks take ~200 years to fully mature). Supposedly, in 2007, Queen Margarethe II was notified that her royal forest was ready to be harvested.
