It’s common to see popular actors continue to work into their 50’s and beyond, but they often lose their talent and it’s really obvious. Some continue to stay lucid, but the vast majority just give cringe worthy performances and no one says anything because it’s seen as disrespectful. It’s painful to watch someone who is just phoning it in or who looks like they don’t even know where they are. I love Winona Ryder, but her performance in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was awful. She just had the same expression on her face the entire movie, and she’s not even that old. Robert De Niro, Harrison Ford, Eddie Murphy, Liam Neeson…they’ve all gone down hill really fast, yet somehow their movies keep selling and remain popular.
