Beakman was my favorite of all the science shows. I must’ve had a teacher that loved it or something too because this was also what we would watch at school.
Why is the voice and lip movement out of sync? Is it dubbed?
…i think it’s just a poorly-ripped recording; they weren’t out of synch in original broadcast…
Beakman (and his supposed “world”) was only ever a knockoff of Bill Nye, who himself was just a nice Mr. Wizard.
How could it be a knockoff when it started airing a year earlier? Beakman’s World began airing in '92, Bill Nye the Science Guy didn’t start until '93.

I considered bringing that up, but the television date was already earlier than Nye. I didn’t want to overcomplicate the rhetoric.
Completely tongue-in-cheek. I just didn’t like his show as much as I liked Bill Nye.
…nah, bill nye was a cheap beakman knock-off formatted for terminally-ADHD millenials…
Which would actually explain my preference…!
…a lot of folks love bill nye!..he’s not my cup of tea but he’s certainly more widely-known thirty years later…
