archive.today and archive.ph (also .is, .md, .fo, .li, .vn) are DDOSing a blogger (pic) who investigated them. They could also be Russian assets (js from mail[.]ru).

Baking conspiracy theories.

prolly soldered on 😐

Moral courage

the dems slow rolled his conviction
How exactly was it only or mostly dems that did this?

I mean yeah. China doing China things. Thanks for sharing, every little bit helps. Except the people who need to hear it the most will say it’s Imperialist media and therefore a lie.
edit: called it!

many people want to switch from reddit, but cant - no content
That’s a bullshit statement. It doesn’t even make sense. Once again, you’re thinking people only want to participate in platforms that already have a fuckton of users. (edit: or content, sheesh)
also noeone everyone shares your definition of lemmy
That’s what I said. And again, it’s not just Lemmy. Do you even understand how the fediverse works?

@frontg - you have 4 Posts in a year. you are the reason that people like me have to create more content the way I do it.
OK, that takes the cake. Fuck your hubris.

You didn’t hear the good news:
Now as for the content you bot, I don’t have an issue with a lot of it. Go ahead and post your links and memes. Meme culture is built on theft, anyway. I don’t dislike you any more than any other mass poster who is rarely present in the comments of their posts
Just count your losses and move on.
I’ve had posts of mine removed. It happens. Logic dictates that it happens more the more you post.
And yes, your account is objectively bot operated (edit: at least partially). You admitted as much.

Fully agree, in a general way - OP is not the only case. Incl. the “I am a creator helping the fediverse grow” attitude.
As you said in your next comment:
Why is MORE content better for you than GOOD content?

Yeah I really don’t like people mass-posting news articles calling themselves creators.

what is your solution for attracting users?
“attracting new users” is not a sentiment that is shared by all of us, not at any cost anyhow.
The cost being the fediverse becoming a sad impersonal place (like reddit) before it even lifts off.
Your “solution” might attract a few people - those who think bigger numbers are better, always.

When I started using federated social media I had to block a lot of people* who just mindlessly churned out posts with links to often dubious news articles etc. It became much better after that.
And often they see themselves as knights in shining armor that “help the fediverse lift off”.
It’s just another version of the terminally online forum regular.
* judging by the usernames, often the same person using accounts on different instances

edit: thanks for showing me that FF addon. That explains so much.

What is that thing that looks like an oversized date or an exotic turd?

Honestly, the pics I’ve seen of USA school food were worse. Which kinda tracks; I’m sure they value soldiers higher than children.
Above I see full grain rice and a variety of protein sources, if industrially produced. Salad is missing of course but that would be too much to ask Ig
edit: I have heard that it varies. Both the pics in this post and the posts I’ve seen are anecdotal but not isolated outliers either.

So people cannot identify animals anymore and default to “lion”???
Considering she’s 12 I’d say it’s a bit worse than hornycringe
