I sympathize with fellow PC gamers for this needles requirement (even though PSN account is my main account). I’m just surprised there’s no similar backlash for other devs requiring respective account creation (EA, BioWare, Blizzard etc. etc.). Sony did not invent this practice.

You can use uBlock Origin and other privacy add-ons to block tracking and a VPN to hide your IP address but if you’re logged in to a search engine’s account then everything you search is tied to you no matter what you do.

Reddit cannot be browsed on mobile because they blocked 3rd party apps.
If you’re on android, use AdGuard that blocks ads in other apps. Or use Vivaldi browser with built in adblocker.

Microsoft delays Obsidian’s game. Not because the game won’t be finished in time or to avoid crunch but because they don’t want to add too many games to their “Game Pass” around the same period of time… 🤦🏻♂️

Keep in mind this is the same Game Pass they have just increased prices for and playing games since day 1 will cost you $20/month. A move that FTC deemed ‘product degradation’ (which is just a polite term for ‘enshittification’) and ‘inconsistent with Microsoft’s arguments during last year’s trial’.
