Accessibility: Open sores aren’t hidden, they’re out there for everyone to see and diagnose. This aligns with the accessibility of open source technologies, where everyone has access to the code and can contribute to its improvement.
Resilience: Surviving with an open sore signifies resilience, just like the open-source movement which has weathered numerous challenges but has continued to grow and thrive.

The open sores community takes the work they do very seriously, and their contributions have led to significant advancements in the tech industry.
