I once had what I thought was slices of canned cranberry sauce at a buffet. I ate one slice and said “These cranberries are terrible!” Turns out they were beet slices.
Beets are good, if that is what you wanted to eat. lol
I fucking love beets. Recently ate a beet and blue cheese salad, sounds kinda out there but it was excellent. And pickled beets are just fantastic
My wife criticizes me for trying to get it out of that can without breaking up or cracks. She doesn’t understand how to perfectly plate a meal.
