This is what European politicians are moving towards now. Push tax money to military spending, get more nukes, redirect research into “dual use” applications, while the cuts in social programs and privatization are just an added bonus. Would be a shame to let all the information warfare that has gone into creating external enemies go to waste, now is the time to capitalize.
