The blasphemy was a bit in jest. However I’m scripture it’s clear that he did communicate to humans, even taking a human form through his son/alter ego.
Yes communication is possible, just not directly, hence the signs and the symbols.
As for Jesus, even if he’s God and a human at the same time, it doesn’t mean that he would be able to speak divine truths directly. An infinite being as God cannot be rendered in a finite language.
An all powerful sky wizard can do whatever he wants. Imaginary Sky Daddy can be rendered in whatever way he see fits without people like you “defining” how he does and doesn’t work.

God may exist or may not exist. And you can break all the rules of logics when you write fiction.
It doesn’t mean it’s not interesting to apply the rules of logic to the idea of God. It’s even an important part of philosophy.
