Sticking to your stereotype = treated like a doormat

Breaking your stereotype = whites get threatened and lash you

What’s the winning move? To not play at all and just go back to China?

Have you tried being born white and inheriting a lot of money? That seems to be working pretty well for a lot of people where I live.

If you measure success as fitting the preferences of a white supremacist society, you cannot win. For example, the people who cozy up to powerful whites and repeat their reactionary thoughts are still not truly accepted by them.

To win you’ve gotta care about what cool people think, not white supremacists. Cool people will not care how stereotypical you are except to maybe ask you to tone it down if something seems like it perpetuates something harmful. Like it’s fine to like something stereotypically Asian, don’t sweat it one bit. You can like things!

If you want a real answer, you need to decide what your own goals are and take whatever steps you need to accomplish them and move towards accomplishment on your own terms.

Sometimes the easiest way to maneuver through a situation could be to stick to a stereotype, other times it will be to be yourself, unapologetically.

You can only really know by measuring with the question “how should I navigate this situation to get closer to my own goals?” Each situation will have differences that you need to weigh and yeah, a lot of the time you will need to do shit that feels bad to avoid even worse things. This is the case for most workers, you’re definitely not alone, although everyone has it to different degrees and in different ways.

Marxism-leninism (especially really understanding and practising dialectical materialism, amongst degenerate western liberalism it will feel like a superpower):

    • Black Skin, White Masks - Frantz Fanon
    • How Europe Underdeveloped Africa - Walter Rodney
    • Darker Nations; a people’s history of the third world - Vijay Prashad
    • Class Struggles - Dominic Losurdo
    • Elementary Principles of Philosophy - Georges Politzer
    • In Defence of Materialism - Plekhanov

Realistically if it’s feasible for you, moving to China would be good. I’m not too familiar about their permanent resident visa stuff but I’d imagine you have to have some useful expertise or skills. Maybe a serious consideration for you?

Find and express your true self as an individual.

Then recognize the racialized class divisions created by capitalism can be dismantled by communism. Growing your class consciousness and solidarity will contribute to a communist revolution.
