His Farewell Address was January 17, 1961 and didn’t contain this quote.

Yeah, profiting off of weapons and war in general should be illegal. Sadly it isn’t. I wouldn’t exempt the nation’s so totally though, much foreign policy has been enacted to drive arms exports.
And then he went on to pressure Kennedy into doing the Bay of Pigs. Dude talked good for the record but he didn’t actually give a shit about what he was saying.
