Huh, funny to see a painting of Klee here. My great grandfather was actually a big fan of him (for him Klee was contemporary art) so I was dragged to some exhibitions by relatives.
But still, Klee is not for me. I always wonder what people find fascinating about his paintings and I really want to understand! Maybe you have an answer or opinion for me?
Klee isn’t awfully my taste either but I like this one because I like opera. He’s sort of a mishmash of cubism, surrealism, and expressionism is what’s said of him. I liken him to Basquiat, in that I see why people pay attention to him but there’s nothing I’d buy.

For me Klee brings a sort of child like innocence and wonder in his paintings. They observe the world without judgement but with glee and joy.
