With the unfortunate news of Lemm.ee shutting down at the end of June, I wanted to offer an invitation for any and all furries here to migrate to Pawb.Social before the shut down happens. We are a general purpose, LGBTQ+ friendly instance, for furries by furries. Our registration is open and we welcome any who wish to move over to our instance.

If you wish to migrate your settings from Lemm.ee to Pawb.Social, follow these steps:

1. On Lemm.ee, go to your settings and find the Import/Export Settings area.
2. Click on Export and save this settings.json file on your device.
3. If you haven’t already, register on Pawb.Social for a new account there. Note: Please follow the registration application rules, and it should be approved within 24 hours.
4. Once your registration has been approved, you can sign into Pawb.Social.
5. Once you are, go to Settings, find the Import/Export Settings area
6. Click on Choose File, select the exported settings.json file you saved previously, and then click Import.

Your settings should now have been imported cleanly into Pawb.Social and you should be ready to go.

We are disappointed to see Lemm.ee be going away, it represented one of the larger Lemmy instances on the Fediverse. That said, we hope that for those furries that do still wish to interact with the Reddit-style side of the Fediverse will join us on Pawb.Social.
