I don’t actually use it, so it’s no problem from my standpoint, but in case the admin team was unaware:
As of:
https://lemmy.today/post/307248
Photon was apparently working at:
…but it presently just shows a blank page for me.
It works on Chromium based browsers but not working on Firefox based browsers. (even when turned off Ublock)
Checked on:
- Brave (Linux) - Worked
- Brave (Android) - Worked
- Firefox (Linux) - Doesn’t Work
- Firefox (Android) - Doesn’t Work
- Librewolf (Linux) - Doesn’t Work (probably because librewolf’s hardening)
This is the latest stable version of Photon. (there are new pre-realeases though, but idk how stable are those)

Still don’t know how to mention users 😮💨
I noticed that too, being a Firefox Linux user. I guess the developer either doesn’t care or doesn’t know. You can try to open an issue on his github page and see what he says.
It worked fine to mention me the way you did. :)
open an issue
Will do.
I actually mentioned you in three different ways and some shows on some ui but not on another. Lemmy needs some basic standardization between instances.

Ah really? Yeah that’s not good. One obvious way would be enough! :)
The Photon dev replied in this post. Saying some sorcery that I don’t understand. Idk if the problem is from our side or theirs.Maybe can you reply him?
Thanks! Yeah I understand, will check his docs later then and change our settings accordingly.
Cool.
Probably an issue with NGINX header buffers size. I’ll add this to the documentation. You can always access photon through phtn.app
Thank you. :)
Thanks man.
phtn.app works well. You are doing an amazing job. Love the UI.
