When people can collect this shit on you legally anyway, I’m inclined to think everyone should have access to it equally.
Or maybe a sequence of numbers that were never intended as a means of identification beyond SSI, should not be used as a means of identification that can used to compromise your entire life. But hey, I’ll probably get another 3 years of free identity theft protection. At this rate I’ll never need to pay for it in my lifetime. /s
