I was reading another cat comics series as a child, borrowed every available tomes at the library, couldn’t understand half the jokes:
I enjoy Garfield. I really want to buy the complete Calvin and hobbs collection. 3 books. I just can’t decide if I want hard or soft cover. Hardcover is just something nice. But the size of those books I know you will have to be very careful with them
We had these in the 80s. If some kid came rolling into school with the latest we’d be salivating over it.
We had them in the 70s too.
I found a 70’s Doonesbury book in my friends attic when I was in elementary school and it for sure stuck with me.
It was at a scholastic book fair where I first encountered robot arena 2 on CD. Top game.
