I’ll be curious to see how this plays out. Simulating shooting another player seems easy enough to call, but what about finger guns in the air? Does Texas Tech get a pass for school branding/tradition? What about pointing forward on first down with two fingers: is that a gun?

I believe they tried to crack down on this back in like 2005ish where they tried to eliminate the fingers across the neck. Honestly a little surprised it took this long to tackle fake guns.
