We do not need to give people a pass for anything and personally i do not know of a single person that is accepting of pedophilia. But how about we start judging people by their actions, instead of policing their thoughts?
Person is nonoffending? Why care about any label that they chose or were given.
Person is raping kids? Lock them up. Is it any better if the rapist is not pedophile?

I didn’t say change or therapy. Also, the underlying causes I cited as probably aren’t things anyone with public funding can address.
I didn’t say a pass. I said a half pass. We go easy on them, we don’t try to fully understand them.
