That sounds like a good way to end up with a broken pint glass in your face in Edinburgh, Belfast or Cardiff.

Or London if you say that to someone with a similarly negative view of colonialism (most people)

Don’t generalise people from the UK like that, you only stoop to the same level as the colonialists by doing that

I am here. I’m not the one calling other people’s countries “the colonies”. You be quiet.

I am Canadian, and I don’t call sovereign nations “colonies”.

Get your head straight yank. You really don’t have a leg to stand on muppet.

Shut up, sit down, the adults are talking.

No one in the uk calls other countries “the colonies”. If someone has said that to you it was to piss you off and it clearly worked.

Here’s a first page google result showing a thread of people admitting that they DO call the USA “the colonies”.

Google is free my dude. Try it, it might have prevented you from losing all your credibility when you were publicly proven to be lazy, stupid and wrong.

The thread shows one person admit they do it to piss you off and other people calling it a good idea because it will piss you off

Again you’re not reading. I’m sorry but I don’t have any more time to waste on you. You can scroll down with your mouse wheel to find a more people in that thread who use the term, or you can search Google. If you choose not to do those things then you are refusing to acknowledge evidence which directly contradicts your point, which is a toxic and self-destructive form of willful ignorance that I can’t abide unless it’s I paid position and I guarantee you can’t afford me.

My time is valuable so I’ll be blocking you without reading your next comment to make sure you’ve read this one.

What tribe are you? Because if you are living in the US and aren’t native you’re worst than the UK. They handed back almost everything they took. The US stole a continent and committed (at least 1) genocide on it. Please please please don’t be of European descent…

I’m not too worried about a simple predictive text slip. I can take that in my stride - doesn’t really alter the meaning any; does it.

No but it erodes your credibility. Why would we take your advice if it’s crafted by someone too lazy and stupid to edit their own words before submitting them? If you didn’t catch these mistakes then you probably don’t catch other mistakes. That’s why your opinion isn’t valuable. Because it’s assumed to be the same quality as your responses.

I’m gonna print that out and put it up in the office. You’re an absolute legend. I’m not looking for credibility nor am I giving advice - I’m just having a cheeky scroll as I wait for my transport to arrive. We’re not all here trying to attain our PhD’s…
