82·20 days agoJust saying, when you support genocide, some people will take a stand, and you won’t always like how they do it.
. . . not to mention lying about it, calling opponents of genocide antisemites . . .
I’m sorry if you still can’t see how some people would look at all of that and realize that both sides want them dead.

83·20 days agoThe Democratic party’s support for genocide makes it really hard to tell where the legitimate criticism ends and the trolling begins.
And that’s nobody’s fault but theirs.

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Traffic congestion increased this year, despite new roads
2·5 months agoThat’s the American mentality all the way: individual solutions to societal problems. Traffic taking up your time and killing the environment? Just buy a comfy car with good AC. Lethal traffic accidents? Just make sure your car is bigger so the other person gets killed. School shootings? Don’t ban guns, just give your kid a bulletproof backpack.
It’s a disgusting way to live, honestly.

It’s amazing to me how millions of Americans complain about traffic every day but never think about how to alleviate it.

@IWW4
I guess most of its fans know it for its collection rather than its museum. From the wikipedia page:
The Morgan Library & Museum has long contained a collection of illuminated manuscripts,[230] which date from the sixth to sixteenth centuries.[118][146][231] As early as 1923, the Morgan Library counted 560 illuminated manuscripts in its collection,[232] a number that had grown to over 1,100 by the 21st century.[231]
