Piefed is an entirely different software. You would have to sign up to a piefed instance.
I don’t think that’s true? I’ve seen instance-banned accounts that do not have content purged.

What does this post have to do with the admins of lemmy.world? The original poster of this thread is from piefed.ca.

Your best bet is to make a thread on !television@piefed.social

Legit question, how come you didn’t make the French version on jlai.lu?

Usenet certainly didn’t, nor does the web in the grand scale.
Many communities that lack rules then and now are spam-infested slopholes.
Nope, it would have to be removed just like always.
So would it be mass-removed entirely to the point where no-one could see it no matter what their user settings are?

Season 2 is already in the works.

Yes. Although it’s possible they can laugh independently, but absent of any non-joined lifeform to bat off - they just won’t.

Yes, each new community needs to be manually added to each instance and subscribed to by a local user. Lemmy-federate is a service that instances sign up to to federate all new communities added there across the fediverse. Most instances are on it.

Oh, you just made it. Make sure you federate it on lemmy.federate.com.

What community are you thinking of making?

Yes

Lemmy accounts can see and interact on Piefed communities, and that’s true on every client.

No, Lemmy still has much more users than Piefed. Piefed took a big chunk of traffic when lemm.ee collapsed and a big chunk of users migrated from there to here.

They will just as likely move on to less moderated and less reputable platforms that don’t care what Australia says.
Reddits systems likely use AI, which develops all kinds of false positives. So it’s much worse.

What TV shows do you like?
From an instance admins perspective, yes.
Otherwise it’s about on-par at a community moderation level. It has a few other things but they don’t present as viewed from Lemmy, mitigating their utility at the moment.
