Missile tests is usually not what someone means by ‘dropping bombs’. Every large military does missile tests. They’re harmful for the environment, can be used as a threat based on the location, but are very different from bombing actual people or important infrastructure.

The US is the largest cause of instability in literally every region in the world. Just because you’re afraid of another country taking over the role of destabilising other countries does not mean you should defend the US doing it. China testing missiles is really not comparable to the US bombing the Middle East dozens times a day.

Also it’s pretty ironic to comment on Chinese hegemony when USians literally learn in school that they’re the center of civilisation and the heroes in every war. Biden was never willing to put any pressure on Israel. With the US holding all the cards since they’re the primary funders of Israel’s war efforts, Biden had every opportunity to force a ceasefire before Trump did.

The idea that Trump had any power over Biden while Biden could just decide to stop sending weapons is extremely naive. It’s an attempt to dismiss democrat’s complicity in the genocide on the Palestinian people. We should never forget that both the democrats and the republicans are fully supportive of this horrific genocide.

Are we doing revisionist history now? Without Trump the ceasefire wouldn’t have happened, Biden made it clear that he wouldn’t force Israel to agree with it. And Israel would never agree with it on itself if Trump didn’t force them.

That’s the case for parents of a victim. The son in this case is the perpetrator and as a parent op can do something, which is denouncing the relationship. Protecting the 16 yr old is more important that the relationship between the perpetrator and his parent.

It’s gross because the only reason a 29 yr old adult would have a relationship ship with a 16 yr old is because the 16 yr old is easy to manipulate. A 29 yr old and a 16 yr old have no life experiences in common, the whole relationship relies on the inequal power dynamic. The fact that he chose to have a relationship with a 16 yr old is already proof that he’s taking advantage because any sensible adult that cares about the wellbeing of the 16 yr old would never do that.
