Reddit is filled to the brim with bots.


Are those the reasons for the drop though? I’ve been completely oblivious to this.


I guess Lemmy as a federalized platform mitigates a lot of the problems (mainly all subreddits being at the mercy of one company) addressed in this article.
Should something like this ever happen to me, I’ll be happy to leave Reddit behind. Right now I’m still looking to promote Lemmy.
I’ve seen other articles floating this idea but is this something that’s confirmed? This article refers to the Wall Street Journal but is there a concrete source in which EU representatives are quoted or a written proposal that would suggest such a course of action for me to look up?
