The worst case I’ve seen of this is the tv series scrubs on streaming. That show incorporated its soundtrack really well, I watched it a lot when I was younger and there’s a bunch of iconic scenes that come to mind where the music is kind of integral. And lo and behold, my partner puts it on streaming one day and half the songs I remember aren’t in it anymore. Bleak stuff.
