The headline/subject is always cut off because it’s too long. Just think you should paraphrase it abbreviate when possible and permitted by the Lemmy community in order to avoid making posts that don’t make sense. In this case, I’d just leave it at “Scared Shitless Official Trailer” and leave the description for the body of the post.

I like the spoiler opening line. Movies like this, you already know what you’re getting into. Any flashes of violence and chaos in the back end reveals just as much as that one line and those pretty much have to be there to make for an interesting trailer. Might as well show your hand and not pretend we don’t know that it all goes to hell. The mystery isn’t what happens to the characters, but how and why.

Revanced and UBlock Origin still working for me on Android and Firefox respectively. As the new Chrome update launches and every Chromium based browser follows suit, I do wonder if Google will just straight up block Firefox in the near future. Eventually, I think Google will win this by breaking YouTube on everything except their own apps. Unfortunately, YouTube is kind of the only ubiquitous platform that could pull a disastrous move like that and remain on top.

Oh yes, South Park, the mirror held up to society, a genuine reflection of what’s actually going on in the world. Surely not just a cartoon depiction of pop culture through the lens of two middle aged white guys whose shit take style of humor peaked 20 years ago.

28 Days Later was also never a massive blockbuster movie. It was kind of a cult hit. A sequel titled 28 Years Later will definitely bring in some kind of audience, but I am doubtful about three back-to-back movies. The Strangers is doing the same thing. Why? What historical evidence is there to suggest that this is a smart idea? I just can’t imagine niche horror franchises are prime material for Marvel-ization.
