Oh, so they’re upset now? What about, you know, when Trump stole a shit-ton of top secret documents that he very probably attempted to sell and at the very least definitely stored improperly and used a lot of lying and juggling to keep hold of? After he attempted to overthrow the government on Jan 6th. If they had moved faster, we wouldn’t even be having this whine-fest, because he wouldn’t have gotten re-elected from prison.

I mean, I agree 1 billion is a lot of money, but if they’re trying to really grab viewers and keep them, I think they have to make it a worthy proposition and they started waaaaay behind the other streaming services, who have had a lot longer to collect a worthy back catalogue of content.

They’ve had a number of shockingly good shows too, though. Like if you have missed any of these, you’ve missed out a bit, IMHO.

I feel like unless you bought an Incel Camino or a brand new Tesla like in the last year, you really shouldn’t be on the receiving end of quite so much hate, TBH. They made $14 billion in Q4 of 2024… what even does losing 250 million a quarter mean compared to those numbers? I think they need to stay the course and maybe even expand faster, to be perfectly honest.

Also, every Apple hardware purchase should come with like another year of Apple TV imho. Or link it by level, like an iPhone Pro Max is 1 year. An iPhone Pro is 6 months. An iPhone is 3 months. Something that keeps as many Apple eyeballs engaged as possible so that you at least have a core viewership to talk it up to all their friends?

I am on both and trying to gradually transition over to here. One thing is to be aware that you can block entire instances here. Once I blocked hexbear and lemmygrad, the quality of my feed improved pretty dramatically.

I mean… while I defend the right of Israel to defend themselves from attacks, they’re basically committing genocide in the name of “defense” by not discerning between innocent Palestinians and Hamas. And thus, they have become the bad guys through their bad actions and are getting a lot of hate over it.
