no, am i not supposed to mention nVidia?
no, am i not supposed to mention nVidia?
you are very welcome! i’ll see what i can do about creating more, but this one had me laughing out loud once i figured out why the jetson wouldn’t boot anymore heh
like something out of a history book :D
Haha, yes, it actually is available at this time.
I can package it up and send it to you for informational purposes, but please don’t attempt to recreate the bug, as we have all seen the Reanimator, haven’t we?

Well, it’s only $108/yr for unlimited searches.
And I used to use search engines professionally for work (think potentially hundereds of searches per day, sometimes), so it’s easy for me to justify paying for quality.
But according the data, most regular folk won’t search more than 300 times per month. Some days you might search more, some you might search less, you know?
Awesome, that’s exactly the type of feedback from a professional that I was looking for - I feel almost exactly the same.
Other than I feel a little bit fanboy-ish now lol.
After using the trial for a month and reaching the limit, i decided to pay for the $108/yr unlimited searches.
Kagi did statistical analysis before assigning pricing (it was a long process that they would update us on while they gave us leniency on the quotas). They found that 300 per month was the sweet spot for a lot of regular people that might only search a few times a week or others that might only occasionally do deep dives.
edit: fixed an error, but also adding: no, i exclusively use kagi now on all my devices. give it a test run, it is dramatically different from ddg and googhell
Key excerpt, pseudo-TLDR:
The pro-independence, largely Indigenous protests were sparked by planned changes to voting laws that will allow more long-term French residents of the islands to vote in local elections. The move has sparked fears among the indigenous Kanak population that their influence will be further diluted.
Haha that is a great idea! Give the landmine kill a special animation just to make sure that the cheaters get the message or let them figure it out in time lol?
Heh, did you share that inventory technique on news.ycombinator? I could have sworn that I read a story there a team doing that.
I know exactly what you are talking about - I was digging into the modding of this one game and happened upon a cheater’s forum. Blew my mind that the first step was to completely gut your computer’s security lol. But at the same time, was enlightening to see that. Seems like some of the work has been moved to the Anti-Cheat systems, but I’m guessing that there must be large gaps in what the AC can actually do for you at the application level?
I am in the same boat - Lemmy is like filtering down /all, which is nice for discovering new things, but in Reddit it is pretty nice to just accumulate things as you discover them and be spared the sometimes painful noise.
Heh, I saw it on news.ycombinator.com back when it was announced- they have made strides if you can access TSA now!
In the beginning it was just a form for every manner of authentication and then a big CTA, essentially telling other .gov entities to start making project requests.
That was a breath of fresh air to see a cross-platform client - have downloaded it and will check it out as soon as i can.
Gotta limit my social media intake otherwise I get bad headaches these days.
Cool, I will check these out - thanks for the suggestions!
I almost did because of hexbear.net.
I swear, we need instance tagging so that people can tag their instances as “right-leaning”, “left-leaning”, or “moderate” and let users just pre-emptively block wide swaths of the fediverse for themselves.
Ahh, what an emotional rollercoaster - ok, so noted.
Memmy seems relatively decent, only missing maybe one or two features that I’ve noticed in my few weeks on lemmy.
Bwaha, thank you fellow human!
Thanks All!
Ok, thanks!
I’m using Memmy, so I’ll try to login on the web someday and get that server instance blocked. (Presuming we are running v19+, not sure)
Kudos for looking out first your future self - I had to leave the field entirely after it got to the point where I couldn’t stand to look at a computer anymore. Still can’t for more than an hour, two years later.
I intend to reply more later, because this does deserve a longer reply, but I am short on steam.
In the meantime, have you heard of login.gov? Check that out. The day that .com gets a hook into that is the day that identity problems are (mostly) solved.
Ah, gotcha - the Jetson devices are definitely robowife capable lol. I suspect it is mostly used for things like AI enabled electronic devices, but it is possible to use ROS for robotics!
