Yea, it’s a power station with built-in UPS. https://iallpowers.eu/products/allpowers-r600-portable-power-station-600w-299wh-with-lifep04-battery-1
The white box at the wall is also a battery from my solar setup, with an ATS. So kinda double UPS 🤭

I was too lazy to put on clothes and go out to my shack. This picture is a bit old. It’s missing a lot of mess and my PeerTube server.

It’s different software, doing the same thing differently.
Just like all the different forks of Mastodon.

“Threadiverse” was used before Facebook. Threadiverse refers to a sub verse of the Fediverse.

That entirely depends on the specific models and use case.
Backups of the LXC container has been enough, but I’m thinking about doing a secondary backup of the DB itself.
Everything runs in the same container.
I have restored the container many times. Also, every time there’s an update, I backup the container first and then I can restore it if something breaks.
I have 2 local backups and then 3 remotely at Hetzner.
@rikudou@lemmings.world would think about it. Haven’t heard anything since.
He should just stick to talking about WoW lol
Host PieFed instead.
With that said, I host Lemmy.wtf, which is a rather small instance.
Proxmox > LXC > Docker.
The container has 6 vcores and 6GB RAM.
Backups are handled by Proxmox.
Do you mean a 64GB SSD or did you really have to upgrade to 64GB RAM to run your Lemmy instance?
I’m all for it, but at the end of the day, humanity needs to reproduce. So if there was only room for flexibility for the parents then that’s what makes sense to put first.

Friendica is closest, but it does not really do well what I use Facebook for. I use Facebook for the small, niche group or the local community group and that’s it. Friendica does so “groups”, but it’s far from the same experience.

DHH is a millionaire, so I don’t think he cares. He’s also just one of many in the Rails project.
Instead of Framework, what else can you recommend?
😮
How old is the dataset?

Almost every morning when I drive to work.
