IANAL, but IIUC from reading about Monero use in court dockets, the fact that you are one of a pool of (day) a few dozen, is enough that this piece of evidence isn’t enough to convict and may well be thrown out entirely.
Depends on how things play out. A combination of prices, regulations, and public sentiment leads a lot of petro-companies to offer energy-saving advice (even if it hardly offsets the rest of the negatives of the business, they do wind up doing this)
10x token usage reduction is often achievable.
Not doing stupid shit like asking an LLM to scan a million line file when you could grep, breaking skills files into progressively-discoverable chunks, running normal algorithms where a full LLM isn’t necessary.
And then using an open source model to really reduce the cost

IIRC a mod shared a post that had been auto-banned: one person complained about weeds; the triggering reply was
“Hoe, do the work”
A few random notes :
- interesting that it uses html notation to identify sections, not Markdown which is supposed to be “LLM-friendly” (eg, skills)
- interesting that the docs refer to Claude entirely in the 3rd person. “Claude defaults to helping”, not “You are a helpful …”
- Claude is implied to be singular yet multiple: “ask the Claude in that application”
- whatever is prompting Claude is referred to as “the person” but in reality could well be another bot
- given that context window is fixed and this system prompt takes a fixed overhead for every single call, I am surprised at how repetitive and wordy it is. I would have expected a document that a dozen good editors went over to make as parsimonious as possible

I wrote a knockoff of Atari2600 ‘Adventure’ in Turbo Pascal on the Tandy 4000.
I still have the.PASand.TPUfiles.It would mean the world to me if someone would suggest the right emulator/package/anything that would let me run that old childhood treasure and share it with my children

IIUC, the vendor would need to retrain their model, not simply apply a patch like for an out-of-bounds memory error.
