It should be, but I dont think that Democrats see it the same way. The party as a whole besides some individual politicians is not a party that is ready or willing to oppose the fascists.

They also have a track record of being useless against Trump. They were in power 4 years, Biden promised to bring the country back together and just failed. There is no need to focus on them when resisting Trumpism.

Doesnt mean they couldnt join the cause, but most likely they will do that when they decide to co-opt it so they can win the next election.

I think comparing gender or sexual orientation to a disability is also not the way to go. Its a very different experience with very different challenges in our current society.

If what you say is true about not being anti queer, I think you should try to refelct the way you view and talk about queer people. The reactiona to ypur comments are so big/aggressive because the rhetoric you use is very similar to the rhetoric many bigots use when talking about queer folks. So even if you mean it differently, from our perspective it really looks the same / similar.

good that you know better than the people that write psychatric / psychological guidelines for professionals. they actually removed the classification as a mental disorder based on more uptodate research and the current scientific consensus. its sad to see people not only repeating this transphobic talking point but people on Lemmy also upvoting it.

I know that on reddit there was some kind of crowd sourced moderation of r/anarchism. I dont have any direct experience regarding this way of moderation, as I was never part of that way of doing things.

I agree with what you say and can also admit that my moderation practices are not perfect, but just as much we have moderators that should act in good faith and be accountable for their actions, users should also try to act in good faith and in line with the communities goals. Of course the power difference is there and so I am.not saying this is a both sides issue where everyone has actually equal amounts of agency.
