One of you family members will die of natural causes, you have the option of cloning and replacing them one day before they pass. The clone has all memories and is the exact copy of the family member but you are the only one that knows they are a clone. The replaced family member assumes they just recovered naturally along with everyone else.

Sounds more like a copy than a clone, a clone would just be identical genetically, like an identical twin that is also a baby. Either way, I wouldn’t want this. It wouldn’t save the actual family member, and it would create new life to experience suffering. The copy wouldn’t live forever.
