I feel like a barbarian typing without a stylus. I don’t know how I was so use to using just my hands.

I used handheld devi es with a stylus before modern devices existed. Palm and windows ce. Still use them sometimes on tough books. Not a fan tbh.

Most of the stylus devices that I’ve ever used are pretty clunky. It just ends up being this extra thing that you can lose without a whole lot of functions to justify its existence. I had a surface book for a while with a surface pen, the whole gimmick ended up never getting used and eventually I even disabled the touch screen.

I think my favorite stylus device was a dedicated drawing tablet that you would plug in and only use for that purpose. It didn’t have the issue that a lot of resistive styluses do that I took way too much pressure to activate, but it didn’t have the same problem as a lot of capacitive styluses where you couldn’t rest your hand anywhere.
