I’ve been trying to up my cologne game. Recently switched from Old Spice to Lomani Pour Homme. I’m a little underwelmed, and have been thinking about maybe trying Dakar by Al-Rehab. Any ideas?

I use Azaro Visit. I get asked often what’s my parfeume.

A friend of mine is a lot into this topic and he has told me that Jean Paul is like the top of the top but it’s too expensive. Other brands he has told me are Versace, Dior, Boss…

I’m looking at Azaro Visit. Winter forest-fresh scent sounds good, but I’m not seeing it available on Amazon. I might have to actually start looking at real cologne websites for this one. I’m trying to avoid the really expensive stuff.

This Azaro I got it gifted 4~5 years ago and I just found it in my drawer a month or two ago. It’s amazing that it held it scent that long. It may be out of production but I don’t know.

I would say Dolce & Gabbana light blue

And you know what there’s this one cologne that smells absolutely amazing and I just cannot think of the name for the life of me. There’s this website well it’s like a perfume Forum I use it a lot it’s called fragrantica. Perfume was actually one of my hobbies back in the day I Still Love perfume but you should check it out people really describe the perfumes and detail to where you can actually make a better decision on what to get

Yes they also have an app on the Play store but it’s basically just like the fucking web browser which kind of sucks. Also I don’t know if you know this but all perfumes that are legitimate have serial numbers on the bottom if they’re not on the bottom it should be somewhere on the bottle and if you type up like perfume serial number Checker you can put in a serial number of a perfume and it’ll tell you how old it is

Good to know. That oakmoss note looks promising.

If I can’t find it in store I think I’ll just order some testers. Do these look like what I should get?

But that doesn’t say Pour Homme. I think that is for women.

Thanks for reminding me that I have a whole drawer full of unused perfumes 😅.

How can one verify that a code hasn’t been faked. Like if someone finds what the code is for a certain batch can he just put it on his own fake product?

Now let’s say that I am making fake perfumes. I take that code and print it on my product. You still believe that it you have real perfume but in reality you don’t.

No, I’m from Bulgaria. Here you are more likely to buy a replica of something expensive than finding the real deal 😅. It is possible to buy fake stuff even from official stores. 2nd world problems I guess.

So the testers arrived, and I think this might work as a summer fragrance. The open seems a bit girly to me, but once it dries down a little, I kinda like it.

Currently using “Gucci by Gucci” - it’s nice, I like it.

For some reason, perfumes are a very popular gift in my family so I have a solid backlog of fancy perfumes, probably enough to last me the next 5 years. I just switch to a new one when the current one runs out, assuming I like how it smells.

This seems like it might be good based on what I’m seeing on fragrantica, but I would want to smell it in store before I get a bottle based on what it lists for notes.
