From what I’ve seen of Lemmy so far you will get trolls who will make a big deal and pretend to have killed themselves. In theory it would be good to help people but in reality your just going to get this and probably constantly.
If I create a community would that not be up to the mods to get rid of trolls? I have never been a mod of anything but just messaged one to help me out?
I mean it might help someone but a ban also might send someone whose really thinking about it just over the edge. I really wouldn’t want to be making those calls. Just my opinion nothing more.

Banning people for claiming to be about to kill themselves, I mean I can’t see that ending well in any scenario.
How to dismiss trolls from real cases to me sounds pretty iffy I personally wouldn’t want near that.
But what if we could get them help and stop them?
