  • It may be true that you got banned for ridiculous reasons, I have no way of determining that, except by hacking your used instance and Reddit, comparing IPs and other identifiers and identifying your accounts, but that’s too much work and illegal. Or you can provide the account, but that probably won’t help much anyway, as I don’t have easy access to Reddit myself, because of different reasons.

I don’t think that everyone that gets banned is a racist/terrorist/🌈 hater hybrid. I also didn’t say that you have done that. The ToS encompass much more that just hate speech, you may have started a DDos for example, I don’t know.

Of course Reddit doesn’t just let you onto their platform again. You may have a chance to get unbanned if you talk to their support, but a permanent ban often stays permanent.

I agree with your “fuck them”, but for different reasons.

  • Creating a new account on Reddit is ban evasion, so it’s not a wonder that you get banned using the same IP and device as the other banned users. Personally I wonder what you did to get blacklisted on Reddit, which contains some pretty vile communities.

Getting blacklisted means that you aren’t welcome on the platform. Maybe you broke some rule in the ToS or someone at Reddit just doesn’t like you. If you think that the ban was unfounded, you have to argue with Reddit’s support or leave for another service. There are some social media networks which are very open in terms of content and behaviour.

  • If you use a new account because you got banned, just write your old username into the post, which isn’t hard. The fact that you use a new account isn’t the problem, but that you didn’t give us any context, such as your old username(s).

The Europeans colonised America, even when there was “no one” (in this case Europeans) there. There’s always a beginning. If you don’t want to create an instance, then join one. There are many instances which you may like, you just have to look: https://join-lemmy.org/. If you get banned from every one of them, you may want to reconsider your posting habits or leave for another social media network.

  • No instance and no mod has the obligation to let you participate on their instance (as long as you don’t pay them or similar, which you don’t). You are expecting random people who run an instance themselves to tolerate you, which they don’t have to. It’s just like visiting someone’s house. As long as you are inside their house, they can impose rules on you such as “no politics” or “be nice to everyone”. If you don’t follow these rules, they may throw you out. A commercial entity, such as Twitter, Reddit or Walmart won’t ban you for saying something unpopular, but they will if you hurt someone. You can’t expect a private entity to follow your rules.

  • Mods have all the power over their communities, that’s the same everywhere. The Fediverse has the advantage that multiple communities can exist and you can choose which to use.

You say that you get banned for “no reason”, using a new account without any history. Tell us your usernames which got banned and show us that you got banned for “no reason”. Every instance has a modlog, in which everyone can see the reasons for your ban. Using a fresh account doesn’t exactly raise your trustworthiness.

Do you think Reddit or any other social media is better than Lemmy? This network has the power of decentralisation, so if you always get banned from everywhere, create your own instance or community or search for an instance that will tolerate or accept your views and mannerisms. That is the power of the Fediverse.

You may also want to understand that the Fediverse is mostly used by inclusive and socially progressive people, which may be in conflict with your views, but I can’t check that if you use a fresh account.
