Yup. I sometimes travel (or travelled for that matter… I’m not going back to that shit hole) to the US and basically everyone there is living an act. It’s so weird and artificial and it all boils down to an “I’m the best and deserve everything, all the others can go fuck themselves” attitude. This is highly toxic and can easily lead to violence. Pair that with how they breathe the most toxic form of capitalism and you have a recipe for the shit show that is the USA. I’m really sorry for all the cool guys over there. There certainly are some fine people, but the majority is completely lost.

Oops, replied to the wrong comment, lol.
Dude, stop. It’ll never catch on.
Order an Aeropress and/or pour-over equipment (Hario V60 and a kettle with a gooseneck) and some good beans. Go with light roast first. Make sure they weren’t roasted too long ago. 4 weeks is good. Then grind them manually or with an electric grinder and you’re good to go. No need to spend copious amounts of money.
Our dipshit chancellor, Monty Burns, is trying to screw this up for us all. Fortunately, we have many strong unions that all tell him to get fucked.

Ibuthyr@feddit.orgto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•That's an impressive drop. Any ideas why?1·6 days agoNah, a lot of them are useless. I see it at work. Many of them are incapable of making a quick phone call when they need something. They just don’t understand that people prioritize answers for people they actually know. You don’t get to know people via texting.
Ibuthyr@feddit.orgto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•That's an impressive drop. Any ideas why?2·6 days agoI don’t know… While this certainly has made a comeback in the last couple of years (thanks to rise of fucking Nazi shits all over the world), there has been a positive development.
I actually believe it has more to do with the ever increasing “efficiency” at work and addictive media (YouTube, social media, Netflix, etc.). People just don’t have time for sex anymore, because there are quicker ways to get your dopamine fixed. This is also why people don’t go out and socialize anymore. Social media is actually very antisocial.
Yup, just go with stainless steel. I wouldn’t recommend teflon coated pans anymore, because it’s literally poison.

I have a strong preference for the German and Swiss types, but I think we can all agree that Japan massively fucked up. They took the already shitty American plug and just forgot about the ground.

Wero is already a thing and it’s straight forward. Even that is too complicated for many people, but it’s gaining traction at least.
Anywho, I’m rooting for both!

In October the next step will be activated, allowing payments in e-commerce. Later down the road, you’ll be able to pay in real shops. Luxembourg and Netherlands are to join in next. More and more banks start to adopt WERO.
I urge everyone to use WERO as much as you can. It’s flying a bit under the radar at the moment and this must be a success. Hopefully more EU members will join soon.
It really isn’t. It’s way closer to the back of the knee. Let’s not twist facts just because we’d like em that way. Let’s stay credible, ok?
Unfortunately, it’s currently only in Germany, Belgium and France. Netherlands and Luxembourg will join as well. I can only hope that it becomes a success, so it’ll be rolled out in all European countries.

Ibuthyr@feddit.orgto Technology@lemmy.world•‘If I switch it off, my girlfriend might think I’m cheating’: inside the rise of couples location sharingEnglish2·2 months agoIt might have to do with how much Americans must work and sit in a car every day I guess. I suppose that sort of workflow makes sense. But then I’ll definitely chalk it up to America bad. Thats not a life I’d want to live.
Just a friendly reminder that Wero is activated in October for online commerce as a European alternative payment method. Fuck Visa, fuck MasterCard, fuck any of these American companies.
You’re totally right, I apologize. Here’s the correct answer:
