When I took acid as a teenager in the 90s, I was tripping balls and realized that entertainment or anything that occupies that mind that we enjoy, in essence makes time seemingly go by faster. Therefor, the more you entertain your brain, the quicker you approach your demise. It really groundbreaking for me at the time. I swore I might just stare at a clock for the rest of my days just to make time seemingly like it passes slower to savor my mortality lol

Well as a counterpoint, that’s when you bounce. I had HBO MAX for years but their latest price hike was unjustifiable for me. I suppose I should prob shitcan Netflix too. And of course Amazon Prime went the exact direction you’re talking about.

I watch a lot of YouTube streaming to my Roku and I’ve been kicking around the idea of getting premium. I spend far more time on it than the other streaming services.

I glaned through your post history but I’m not sure how spot on I am at all.

Since we’re in casual conversation I gotta say something regarding the “girls taking a shit” post. That has always been a personal mind trick for me when I’ve caught myself idolizing people I’m attracted to or thinking they are out of my league. I just remember “hey, she takes nasty shits just like the rest of us. Probably even nastier.” Puts me in check and brings me back down to reality if I’m nervous when interacting with someone. Anyways, thought I would just over share.

Ngl, this is kinda my favorite form of trash TV somewhat these days. I watch a lot of YouTube content but don’t really keep up with specific creators so much.

However, there is a channel I used to follow called Illuminaughti and she got ousted for being a scumbag. I got drown into watching that whole debacle and now I do follow a couple of YouTube drama channels. Good to throw on for some mild entertainment in the background occasionally.
