I don’t think the corporations see it as being brought to heel, generally speaking. It’s like net neutrality; those who are already big will thrive because they can afford to implement the govs requirements while the littler guys can’t afford it and will just pull out of the UK.

At least what will be how it is while the government scrambles to unfuck themselves for the young persons vote in the next election.

Round about way, the size of the site does matter because only the big sites can implement these checks. The little guy is forced out of the game. Bleak future where only the already big can prosper.

I think the bigger issue is that Tesla might be diminishing the drivers impression of their vehicle responsibility with their marketing/presentation of auto pilot.

I say that knowing very little about what it’s like to use auto pilot but if it is the case that there are changes that can be made that will result in less deaths then maybe the guys lawyer has a point.

Some advice for you, education become less relevant as time moves on and your experience becomes your qualifications.

Get writing a CV and feel good about how good you can make yourself look on paper, and don’t forget that everyone embellishes.

You sound pretty secure in your role now, so feel good about that, but rest assured you’ll move on to a better job either by choice or redundancy and that’s OK.

Really the bit people seem to be missing the mark on, is whether or not my changing the region on my account will also pull my children across with me and in turn let me redeem the code on my sons account.

Also while it isn’t possible to do it on your own while having a balance, that are plenty of reports online of Nintendo doing it via support.

I loved my steam deck, but it was too chunky for me and certainly for my kid.

My compromise is Anbernic type devices. Long battery life, better form factor, lots of ported games too.
