What DNS software are you running?

I’ve been running it on a Debian VPS for years as a test. So far not a single problem, although I don’t let it reboot on its own (I do monthly reboots, that I am thinking of changing to fortnightly).

Or bury all roads for cars? 😅

The core principle is to provide consumers with a rebate or refund of the surcharge added to the beverage product at the point of purchase when the packaging is returned to a designated collection point once emptied (Calabrese et al., 2021; Krzywda, 2022; Malindzakova et al., 2022; Walls, 2011; Zhou et al., 2020). Zhou et al. (2020) and Malindzakova et al. (2022) suggest that DRS can serve several functions within the waste management system. Specifically, they can: 1) increase the quality and quantity of collected materials and reduce littering; 2) contribute to high collection rates of valuable and recyclable materials; and 3) shift costs and responsibilities associated with the product’s end-of-life phase from municipalities to producers, emphasizing the importance of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations.
There are 7 papers listed in the meta analysis i posted which should address litter.
I literally just searched for “litter” and this was the second hit.

You can try EU.org possibly.
My understanding is that dopamine makes you desire things, so buying things will actually reduce your dopamine levels.

People who litter are still going to litter, they’re not thinking about it.
That’s a reasonable hypothesis, but unsupported by data:

I’ve seen this one! She chokes Jabba to death, right?

I’m not the person you were answering to.
But I’m still not sure what you are suggesting.
If you mean just put bottles in with other waste, then the reason is that people will litter.
If you mean have bottles with a deposit collected curbside, I’m not sure how your suggestion would work. You’d leave a container filled with valuable goods on the side of the road and not expect it to get stolen? 🤔

I don’t understand your question.

Often it’s not financially worth it for the companies otherwise. Consider it a small price to helping keep the planet sustainable.
Where I live, this is part of taxes, but someone has to pay somehow.

I use nightly backups. I keep them 2 weeks.
After that I keep a weekly backup for 2 months.
After that I keep a monthly backup for 2 years.
I keep my yearly backups forever.

ccTLD are best, as they don’t have a contract with ICANN setting their service. While ICANN tries to be a multi-stakeholder, international organization with broad representation… underneath all the bylaws and process and so on it is a US company incorporated in California.
Probably the TLD of your own country is good!
If you don’t care about that, then either .coffee or .soy for sure. 😉
I’m a NixOS user and I didn’t even know there was another way other than editing configuration.nix… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have a (former?) friend who says that. He’s fully addicted to algorithm-induced rage. He sends me 3 or 4 Islamophobic and/or Zionist videos from Instagram or X or Facebook every day for some reason.
Capitalists earn money by having money, not working.
Not quite 100 years, depending on where you are talking about.
In the USA the 40 hour work week became federal law in 1938. In the Netherlands it wasn’t until the mid-1970s when it became normal.
You need to have an authoritative DNS server listening and answering somewhere. Is this running at your home?
If it is, then try querying the IP directly. The most commonly used tool is “dig”, but other ones are available. It should look something like:
dig @your-public-IP subdomain.eu.org
