It’s not because they have friends but because it is perceived that most people want to be their friend, thus popular (usually a middle school/high school trope where bullying ran rampant as a way for kids to develop their own ego boundaries). I’ve been toying with the idea of a heavier wooden bookshelf complete with scrolling ladder and a little reading/resting pad on top. Like a bunk bed bookshelf.

I have a ways to go to be able to fill it due to moving a few times but on the other hand there’s at least three regular sized full bookcases in public libraries thanks to me, which feels pretty good.
