I, personally, would call their Philly Cheesesteak pizza “good” food. Not, like, local restaurant level good. But early days of COVID that was my little bit of sanity. Order a couple pizzas from Dominos delivery on Sunday, eat a slice of each for lunch every day.

You can run Stable Diffusion locally on a lot of hardware. Even the iPhone, surprisingly.

CivitAI.com is a good site for free SD generation, but it’s A: sometimes buggy and B: absolutely full of porn. But by default it’s filtered and there is a lot of good SFW content there. This is also a good repository for models for SD.

Mage.space is also good for SD, but it costs money to do anything beyond the most basic generation. I haven’t used it in over a year, so I don’t know what it’s like now, but it was a really good UI. Just couldn’t justify the cost since I can generate locally and for free on CivitAI, especially given that I only generate like, a few images when someone says something I think would be fun to try. And then go a long time without. I’m not creative enough to come up with the really good prompts I see from some people.

You can run adblockers and other privacy extensions in Safari. Unfortunately Firefox on iOS doesn’t support extensions, because it still uses Safari to display the pages (iOS is dumb that way).

I actually kind of love Michigan. It’s a beautiful state and the people are generally kind and friendly. But it does have some bullshit, especially when you get outside the cities. Though I suppose that’s true everywhere.

Apple almost exclusively ships their software with their hardware. They’re still a tech company.

I see the point you’re making, and it isn’t a terrible one. But the thing is, Tesla isn’t valued like a car company. They’ve enjoyed a market cap at times greater than VAG and Toyota, the largest automakers, who ship orders of magnitude more cars than Tesla does. Tesla’s value has not been in its manufacturing capability but in its position in the market.

(That is likely to change going forward, as other automakers are catching up in the EV world and Musk has alienated Tesla’s core audience.)

I’m well aware. Read what the person I replied to wrote, about how they don’t even use these scanners and use metal detectors instead. That is not my experience.

Every time I’ve flown in the past few years they’re still using the scanning machines. I have PreCheck so I get to skip them and go through the metal detector, but the machines were still there scanning away.

They are going to get one when a western tech company copies them to fill the vacuum they left.

My bully from grade school is serving up to life in prison for attempted murder (he shot two teenagers while he was an adult, something gang related I think) and also sex with a minor.
