I dont know if youtube has h264 support

It could be that it’s playing in a codec that your mobile browser doesn’t support like av1 or something. Not sure though, is this happening with every video?

Any ideas on a way to make it more intuitive that you can click it?

Photon actually doesn’t have this currently, but it’s a good idea, as I moved appointing moderators to community settings. I’ll add this soon!

@Emperor@feddit.uk I’ll update photon soon to increase the size of the text box as you type.

I’ll also tweak parts of the UI to make nested scrolling places more obvious. You can always mention me about this stuff, I want to keep this UI intuitive!

Are you using the node server? Is it working well?

It’s one of a couple design changes I completely rejected lemmy-ui’s version of. Why on earth is it on a commonly used menu? I feel like it makes so much more sense to put it on the community settings page.

The “rewrite” is actually gonna be a fully separate project because it has a very different idea than Photon, and I’ll maintain them separately. I’ve learned since v1.29 not to make big UX changes, since the response was widely negative.

Why would me refactoring something break things? Are you applying custom patches or something? Or have you just noticed it being unstable?

I don’t understand what this means. There are no redirect calls at all in photon other than for /comment urls, and certain layouts.

Hey, I’m the Photon dev. I’d like to know which parts Photon incorrectly displayed, so far I only see tables rendering incorrectly. I’ll have this fixed soon.
