Definitely agree. I don’t fuck with janky power tools.
I don’t understand how people need help making a cable like that. AFAIK It’s a length of 3 wires wrapped in insulation, and two plugs. It’s a hell of a lot simpler than ethernet.
Some older things might genuinely need that kind of cable, like a leaf blower or something

They are, first and foremost, an ad company. Their money maker is the data they get from you; your viewing habits and whatever they can scrape from your computer.
The nerds haven’t hung out at best buys in years. They’re a glorified appliance store now.
Last time I went into one for a computer part, they had 3 colors of the same case fan and two different GPUs, and that was it.
Now MicroCenter, that’s where it’s at.
